Pool & Water Sports at Thornwick bay a whole range of amazing water-based facilities for every age and ability,
Beautiful holiday site with good, clean and superbly appointed caravans/chalets. Had a disabled adapted accommodation which was over and above anything else we have experienced with plenty of room and really good wet-room for showering.
Good on-site clubhouse, restaurant, swimming pool and reasonably priced shop with full range of goods/requirements.
Very nice place to stay, full marks all round, thank you !!
My son and I came to thornwick bay. After years of visiting the area We have never stayed here. We were impressed how nice the small caravan was despite us having a dog friendly one as we brought our dog. Possibly could have vaccumed up better regarding dog hair issue. But all in all lovely clean bedding and kitchen area. The site itself offered lots of entertainment the pool was nice although it would be lovely to have a jacuzzi in there. The Segway was amazing and the large grassed areas for dogs were perfect lots of bins for poop. Well kept gardens and nature reserve. Also play area was good mini market well equipped. Cliffs top views are stunning and fit trail it fab too. Lots to offer. We will be back
We have just returned from a very enjoyable time at this holiday park. It is situated on top of cliffs with spectacular views and lots of walks. We booked this as a mini break and were not disappointed with the site. The staff were really friendly and were very well organised to comply with the current restrictions. The caravan we had was slightly smaller than expected even though we has booked the extra wide, it was however spotless and well equipped with everything you need . Although we did not use it the pool area looked really good and plenty of onsite activities could be arranged. We booked the Segways and had a fantastic time, neither of us had ever used one before but with good instruction we soon picked it up.
If you are looking for a bucket and spade holiday for small children then this is not the site for you as its quite steep down to the lovely coves. Use this site as a base then maybe travel into Filey or Scarborough for sandy beaches.
We would definitely use this site again, brilliant for watching birds and wildlife. We would recommend taking a hat and gloves as it gets really windy and chilly on the cliff tops.
This year has been a record year for Holidays in the UK Next year is expected to be even better.
