Review

Having stayed here last year we decided to bring the Grandchildren with us for 2019's first outing. Thornwick Bay holiday Village is a great location for a base when visiting Yorkshire's East Coast, set in the town of Flamborough. The coastal views are stunning.
Thornwick Bay Holiday Village offers lots of activities and entertainment for families of all sizes and ages. who also have 3 other sites on the East Coast, though this one is the most picturesque.
The site has an entertainment team that keeps the children busy throughout the day and into the evening, it has a decently stocked supermarket, which is reasonably priced too. The local bus even comes into the site, taken holiday makers into the nearby town of Bridlington. Nearby are the famous Bempton Cliffs and the seaside resorts of Filey, Scarborough and Whitby and the cities of Hull and York are within easy reach if you are driving.

I stayed at this site for a weekend for my daughter's birthday. It's a really good site, it's a small site for a Hoilday but it has everything you need. The food in the lighthouse restaurant was very good and not too expensive. The shows for the kids are really and entertaining. There is a good size swimming pool and loads of other activities you can do. There is some great views of the cliff tops and some really nice walks.

This place is absolutely beautiful- i would go as far as saying that it doesn’t feel like your in the U.K. when you go visit the cove and the caves. Will definitely be returning, I liked how clean everything was and the fact they don’t let you wear shoes in the changing rooms

We enjoyed a Monday to Friday break on this site. We had some problems with our caravan, but these were soon sorted out without any quibbles. You have to book in for the pool, bars etc. If you download the app this is easy and it helped keep these areas quiet.
We went to the bar for the entertainment and enjoyed it. All the staff were really friendly and trying their best to make everyone have a nice holiday, despite Coronavirus.
There are some nice walks around the site and cliffs.
The site is between Filey and Bridlington which is good and we visited both.
I highly recommend Scrumdiddlyumptious, which is in Flamborough village, we had a delicious afternoon tea and breakfast sandwiches from them.
