Visited as a couple with a lively Sprocker a week ago with tourer. Despite the extremely windy and rainy weather we had a great time.
Public areas in village, indoors and out very well presented and staff very welcoming.
Charlie (the Sprocker) particularly appreciated the large exercise areas where he could be off the lead in a fenced area, large enough not to interfere with other dog walkers.
Pool excellent and impressed with plentiful staff who actually smiled and seemed to be enjoying their roles.
Club also excellent and as I understand has been recently refurbished. Sensible bar prices - compared with my local.
There is also a regular bus service into Brid which we took advantage of - stops next to reception.
We had a very large pitch with hard standing. The only issue was that the hard standing was only wide enough for the caravan, and, as it was near the end of the season the grass was well worn and muddy in places outside. Nothing you couldn’t sort with careful positioning though. They are developing an area of Super pitches with upgraded hard standing and services which is probably the way to go. Lots of camping families had dogs which wasn’t a problem as everybody was being responsible. Although there were probably in excess of 100 units on the Sat, there was absolutely no noise disturbance.
All in all, we had a great time and such good value too. We will definitely back next season.
